Mockingjay - Book Review

I have finally read the third and final book of the Hunger Games series, Mockingjay. Katniss escaped the Quarter Quell alive but, the Capitol has captured Peeta as prisoner. Katniss and the Command team from District 13 work out how to get into the Capitol w/o being killed. As Mockingjay, Katniss mustn't show sadness, only fierceness and anger towards the Capitol, so they will be the ones who are afraid of the rebels.

"IF WE BURN
YOU BURN WITH US"

Cover
Sunset - orange. Guess whose favourite colour that is. A Mockingjay feather. Perfect for Katniss' appearance.

Characters
Peeta is well and alive, as always. But he isn't the same when Katniss sees him. Gale is much stronger and probably more wise now that he's in the Command team in District 13. Katniss is still the same but trying to be much stronger for her role, the Mockingjay.

Plot
Katniss wants Peeta back, the proper Peeta. Unfortunately she can't do anything to help him most the time because he loses his temper, the Capitol has obviously tortured him a lot. Attacking the Capitol isn't easy when there are thousands of peacekeepers surrounding the area. And when I mean peacekeepers are surrounding the area, I mean the whole area.

KATNISS EVERDEEN'S FINAL BATTLE HAS BEGUN.

Honestly, I imagined this story so differently the way Collins wrote it. It's still an amazing book don't get me wrong but it just wasn't what I expected.
I guess Catching Fire is my favourite out of the three books. :)

4.5/5 Mockingjays :)
