Tiger's Curse - Book Review

When Kelsey takes a two-week job at a small travelling circus after graduation, she's excited about the idea of taking care of a tiger, but not as excited as she is when the tiger is sold to a very rich Indian man, Mr Kadam and he's asked to travel with him - at least until he makes it to a nature preserve. There's a reason why Kelsey feels so bonded with the tiger. She has somehow broken a small part of a curse; Three hundred years ago an Indian prince named Dhiren was cursed to live as a tiger but, whenever Kelsey is near, he can reveal his true self. He's free to be a man for 24 minutes each day and needs Kelsey's help to break the rest of the curse. She is then favoured by the Hindu Goddess Durga who sends them on one of four dangerous tasks.

Cover
So the cover of this book, Tiger's Curse, is a bit obvious what it's about. You can kind of predict what will happen in the story. Which is true though.

Characters
The characters in this story are amazing. I just wished all of them were real. This was all in Kelsey's point of view what was happening though, so you could obviously tell how well the author has described her feelings in every situation.

Plot
It seemed like a dream coming true for me. Mainly the whole story was beginning to be like the Twilight movie but it isn't really. Colleen Houck wasn't very focused on the 'love', she was making the reader more interested in the danger ahead of the characters. She also added a background story for all of this to happen, so like, in a few bits she mentions what happened about the tiger and the history.

I really recommend this book for anyone that likes tigers or any like Indian history stuff.

4.8/5 Tigers :)
